Climbing Hönig
The hiking trail starts at Gasthof Bergblick in Brand (first house on the left at the entrance to Brand) and climbs slightly uphill over several hairpin bends. After about 30 minutes of walking, you reach a fork in the path. Here the trail continues to the right, signposted Sattelkopf/Hönig (the Kögele hut is on the left). Follow the path over numerous hairpin bends, continuing along the Höniggrat ridge to the Hönig summit at 2,034 metres. Descent options:- same route back to Brand- descent to Rinnen via Kögele- descent to Berwang via Kögele- descent to Gröben via Älple
